Materials Officer

Join us at AirAsia as a Material Control Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our aircraft.**Responsibilities**:- Ensure only approved spares and materials are held in the bonded store- Maintain proper security and control measures to prevent unauthorized access- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including computerized records- Complete annual physical stock takes and additional stock takes as required- Implement random stock takes to maintain accuracy- Control the issuance of spares and materials on a FIFO basis- Coordinate with the Material Planning & Inventory Officer for the distribution of spares required for maintenance- Ensure proper handling of time-controlled parts, such as shelf life items- Monitor and track all unserviceable aircraft spares- Ensure proper packing, shipping, and disposal of scrap or warranty parts- Maintain a clean and organized store in compliance with CMM- Represent the Material Department on daily station meetings to ensure all aircraft spares required for maintenance are well-informed to respective departments**Requirements**:- Knowledge of applicable Basic Regulations and Company Procedure- Familiarity with computerized aircraft management systems- Trained in Safety Management Systems, Human Factors, and Dangerous Goodks (an advantage)- Knowledge of CASR part 21, part 121, part 57, and part 145 for Material or Tool side- Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management- Familiarity with Aeronautical Parts & Tools**We are all different** - one talent to another - that is how we rely on our differences.
