POSITION PURPOSE:
The position of Marketing Specialist will work under general supervision, but within established credit union policies and procedures. This position supports the tactical direction of our marketing, advertising, and public relations functions to ensure continued growth and alignment with the goals of the credit union. This position supports members of the marketing team with marketing efforts and various support duties related to the marketing and business development function.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for coordinating monthly marketing mailings, statement inserts, statement messages and email messages
Responsible for tracking and coordinating delivery of Marketing Material Supply orders from ACU Departments and Branches

Monitors and replenishes marketing supply inventory
Liaison between Marketing Department and branches/departments
Works with vendors to maintain inventory levels of marketing supplies through online ordering system
Update product and services rates on website and corresponding printed materials
Update Intranet and Internet websites with marketing promotional items as needed
Maintain advertising records and samples
Assist in creation and coordination of credit union sponsored promotional events and photographs at events
Conduct market research via the internet, telephone, and print as needed
Prepare promotional materials, staff communications, and material disbursement to branches and departments including branch visits
Assist with credit union advertising to include content creation and proofreading
Obtain bids for all phases of the production of marketing materials
Places orders and monitors quality of printed materials and deliveries; coordinate printing and mailing of promotional items
Explore and implement new ways to increase efficiency of serving members
Assist in managing ACU's presence across all social media platforms
Responsible for updating and maintaining ATM campaigns and branch screens
Stay up-to-date on current digital marketing trends
Organize and track marketing supplies and maintain files of all printed material and master copies; occasionally update promotional/marketing items to include brochures, poster, banners, etc
Provide prompt and courteous service to members and fellow staff
Knowledgeable with credit union product and services
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, Associate degree in related field from an accredited college or university preferred
One year of experience working in a professional business environment or equivalent combination of education and experience in Marketing or related field.
Marketing and Financial Institution experience is preferred
