Our Excelitas facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.

Maintenance Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Lead technician/ technical operator to conduct maintenance activities Plan and execute preventive maintenance of production machine Identify and create strategies and activities to support and exceed maintenance goals and objectives Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing breakdown problems, carrying out quality inspection on jobs Establish maintenance procedures and properly record machine performance Install new machine/ equipment; do buy off with process engineer Drive improvement plan to reduce machine breakdown and optimize OEE Provide assembly engineering support to manufacturing line Responsibility in Quality, Yield, Cost and Cycle time improvement Perform specific tasks and projects as required by immediate supervisor Manage a team of staff and organize their workload and monitor team’s performance (shipment, productivity, and operational cost) to meet production targets. Delegate, motivate, and coach team to achieve their best performance
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. Minimum 2 years of experiences in manufacturing as maintenance engineer Hand-on experience in the maintenance system Strong in mechanical and electronic troubleshoot Extensive experience in troubleshooting Knowledge in mechanical and machining process will be an advantage Possess leadership quality, Team oriented with good interpersonal skills Trained Six Sigma/ LEAN Manufacturing/ Continues Improvement will be an advantage Proficient in English (verbal and written) Able to work to tight deadlines, in a fast paced environment
