Legal And Compliance Counsel

One of the biggest multinational manufacturing and production companies is currently looking for a Legal and Compliance Counsel. In this job, you will be based in its Jakarta office.
About the Legal and Compliance Counsel Role:
You will have the sole responsibility of handling different legal aspects, contract management, acquisitions and partnership ventures and labour relations. The job holder will have to advise top management regarding legal strategies and represent the company to all external authorities.

Key Responsibilities :

Representation of management to external law as well as government authorities

Assess legal documents and ensure legal protection of the organisation

Respond and manage matters involving local, state and regulatory authorities

Participate in management meetings and give legal advice to avoid any potential risk

To succeed in the Legal and Compliance Counsel job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements :

Bachelor’s law degree, however master’s is highly preferred

Minimum of seven years of experience handling legal and regulatory matters, and dealing with labour unions or prestigious law firms

PERADI License and experience in the aviation industry is preferred

Experience with both legal and compliance matters at a manufacturing company is preferred

Strong knowledge of and experience in relation to legal, corporate law, regulatory, audit and compliance issues
