About the Role

You only get one chance to make a first impression - a popular adage that holds true for this role. As our Lead PM for Merchant Onboarding based in Jakarta, you’ll manage products that drive the acquisition, verification, and activation process for all of our merchant-partners on the platform. You'll take the wheel in building scalable processes to effectively onboard new merchants and deliver value to the business. The folks in the engineering, business, design, and research teams will be your companions on this ride. Your efforts will directly influence the number, quality, and satisfaction of merchants onboarded onto our platform, and ensure they're given the care and experience they deserve as part of our Gojek family.
What You Will Do

Formulate the long-term product strategy, half yearly OKRs, and strategic initiatives to ensure delivery of key business goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a product roadmap; ship impactful features that will scale the merchant onboarding process and increase their satisfaction with our features
Capture insights from merchant-partner feedback, experiments, research, and data analysis to identify trends and pinpoint the drivers behind them; translate these insights into tactical solutions to improve our products
Be a merchant advocate; articulate their needs and deliver user-friendly solutions to solve their problems
Influence peers, stakeholders, and key executives through the use of data and logic
Mentor direct reports, and lead by example
What You Will Need

At least 4 years of Product Management experience
A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering or Management
An entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable working in a complex and fast-paced environment
Data-oriented with excellent analytical skills; ability to dig into data to discover nuances, and to define & measure success on every project
Strong strategic planning and organizational skills
Ability to lead a team of PMs
Ability to work with Agile product development teams and identify new ways to help your team be effective (experience working with distributed teams is desired)
Fluency in English and a confident communicator; ability to be empathetic to customers and colleagues alike
About the Team

The aim of our Merchant Platform team is to become the central nervous system for merchants across Southeast Asia.Together with the Engineering and Product teams, the gist of our role is to create an ecosystem of solutions to support our merchant-partners on the Gojek platform better manage and grow their business, while enabling both internal and external product stakeholders to develop merchant-based solutions in a sustainable manner. Specifically, we manage our merchant-partner SuperApp called GoBiz, which over a million merchant-partners utilize to drive their business growth and manage their daily operations efficiently.

Our merchant-partners are one of the core stakeholders in our Gojek ecosystem; they’re involved in various offerings such as food delivery, offline payment acceptance, POS, financial services, deals, and promotions. As the Merchant Platform team, we work closely with our merchant-partners to understand their daily needs and concerns, and relay these insights to our internal product stakeholders to build platforms and interfaces on our mobile apps that ensure our merchant-partners’ success on the Gojek platform. Should you have a question about how to run processes in the development of merchant-partner products, we are your people! Currently, our team has been specifically hard at work tackling issues within the engineering arena to enhance the experience our merchant-partners have utilizing our platform and services. We aim to establish Gojek as the most trusted partner for all our merchant-partners.
