Lead Design Engineer*

Your responsibilities Lead and efficiently manage design and site supervision team considering subsidiary goals (e.g. product portfolio, financial KPIs) Provide technical guidance and support to engineering team Assist in developing subsidiary strategy and participate in planning sessions Monitor product portfolio and suggest solutions to fill gaps if required Coordinate with regional and headquarters’ engineering units for complex projects Develop and design formwork and scaffold solutions based on the PERI product portfolio adhering to all relevant local and international safety standards, building regulations or codes Produce designs and shop drawings in conformance with PERI design tables, assembly instructions and other relevant documentation, codes and building regulations Establish comprehensive material lists and offer documentation Proactively communicate and present solutions to our customers to avoid design changes, material shortages or project delays Participate in jobsite meetings and project/ contract negotiations. Experience as Team Leader would be beneficial. Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, PERI software tools and MS Office suite; experience with BIM software is a plus Highly motivational and self-reflective person with convincing leadership skillset Excellent technical proficiency and statical calculation knowledge Ability to clearly articulate complex issues Very good organizational skills and structured work approach Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines Strong customer orientation and ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural backgrounds Very good in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbally and written), good command of Bahasa Melayu considered as an advantage Provision of Certificate of Good Conduct PERI is an equal opportunity employer.
