We are seeking a Network & Firewall expert to join us.
In this role, you will work across the APAC region to manage and support all firewall-related tasks with our IT team.
Responsibilities include: Overseeing the maintenance and management of hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Managing the installation and maintenance of multiple Palo Alto Firewalls throughout the APAC region.
Understanding key security principles and monitoring.
Progressing IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Ensuring compliance with organizational and industry-specific security protocols and regulations.
Acting as an escalation point for critical technical issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
Collaborating with other departments to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
Working collaboratively with global infrastructure teams.
Ideal candidates will have: Demonstrated experience in an IT support role.
Deep understanding of networking, including VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with experience handling complex technical issues.
Exceptional English communication skills, proficient in drafting documentation and articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms or SaaS vendors (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace).
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including server management, virtualization, and storage solutions.
Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
