About the IT Director Role:
Provide in-country IT senior leadership in projects managing all IT activities to ensure business continuity; business partnering with country senior management team and key stakeholders to ensure the provision of professional services to enable the business to obtain its competitive advantage and state of the art information system solutions, as well as cost managing the country budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with in-country sales and area customer information system to direct, control and evaluate the provision of customer information system integration; pre-sale and post-sale information system support, project implementation
Incident management and in-country management escalations; focus to restore service during information system service outages, incident management users complaints and review in-country service outage
Partner with area business services and technical services for all project management aspects and operations of IT activities
Manage contractors to ensure the daily support activities of the business are met
Develop information system budgets in a timely manner in accordance with the company planning cycle and regional schedules
Set performance targets and goals for the information system department
Ensure that service level agreements for all services provided by the information system department to the business are prepared and in place
To succeed in this IT Director role, you will need to have experience within multinational service company and strong IT skills.
Key Requirements:
Communication skills (English), spoken and written (excellent)
Experience in information system development cycles, methodology and project management
Experience in Unix operating system
Telecommunications knowledge
Ability to use effective interpersonal styles to create and sustain effective relationships with country management team, area members, regional BIT, and other key stakeholders from different business units and colleagues. Is open to collaborative approaches to meet mutual goals
