International Sales Associate is responsible for merchandising agriculture commodities (Coffee, Spices, Cocoa, Tea, etc.)
in order to achieve sales target and gain significant financial return by doing buy and sell the commodity at the right time, working on developing distribution business operations, maintaining close contact with customers, communicates market information, strategy formulation for all raw materials, including Risk Management and coverage models based on commodities price movement and Global Market outlook and develop a Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
**Responsibilities**:

- Identifying opportunity for business growth
- Analyzing commodity portfolio to identify trading opportunities
- Conducting negotiations on buying and selling activities
- Report to Sr.
Trader on buying and selling decision
- Monitoring supply and demand factors that affect trades and valuations
- Monitoring international market performance
- Managing customers and market
- Building good business relationship with existing networks and possible trade partners
- Improving efficiency in operations to handle the physical settlement of commodity
- Doing collaboration with Operations, Finance, Strategic Planning and BD/Commercial team to business processing
- Possess Bachelors Degree in Economics & Business, Management, Agribusiness, or related major
- Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in Agricultural Commodities Trading
- In-depth knowledge in trading industry and proven work experience in commodity trading
- Analytical thinking skill with strong self-initiative
- Customer orientation & entrepreneurial mind-set
- Experience conduct business with high level of ethics
- Excellent communication & negotiation skill, written & spoken, both in English and Bahasa
- Attention to detail, have a result orientation, and willing to be hands on
- Excellent presentation skill, both in English and Bahasa
- Proficient using Microsoft Office program especially Microsoft Excel
- Build rapport and obtain offers from existing customers/prospects and securing a deal
- Monitor and develop sales strategies along with Sr Trader to improve market share in all product lines
- Communicate with supplier and negotiate commercial price
- Generate sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets and build new customer base to maximize sales
- Project and interpret short and long-term effects on sales strategies in achieving profit target
- Establish and maintaining relationship with existing/new customer and partners
