The International Federation-Country Cluster Support Team (CCST) for Indonesia and Timor Leste is looking for qualified candidate to fill the following position:

On Friday from 14:00h, 28 September 2018, sets of earthquakes have struck off Donggala Regency, province of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia from 14:00h West Indonesia local time with the strongest magnitude of 7.4. The series of earthquakes did not do not only triggered a tsunami, but also liquefaction in three major spots and landslides which resulted in damages, impacts and constrained access to humanitarian relief.
The EPoA for the Indonesia Earthquakes and Tsunami Operation plan to support up to 160,000 people (40,000 households) until end Feb 2021. The operation is focussing on the following main areas of interventions: livelihoods and basic needs; health; water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); protection, gender and inclusion (PGI); disaster risk reduction (DRR); and National Society and local actor (branch) capacity enhancement. A small team of IFRC staff is supporting at PMI and field level in Sulawesi headed by Field Coordinator.
The position holder will be a member of the Indonesia Earthquakes and Tsunami Operation team within the CCST for Indonesia and Timor-Leste based in Jakarta / Indonesia and will based either in Palu, Central Sulawesi.
The Information Management Assistant’s (IMA) task is to support the Sulawesi operation by ensuring the high-quality collection, collation, analysis and dissemination of operational information.
Working in close collaboration with PMI the IMA will support and enhance PMI’s information systems, seeking a long term sustainable solution for recording response data. The IMA will provide an invaluable interface between PMI and IFRC reporting and enable the effective use of operational data for decision making by all.
