Position Overview
Regional ICT Infrastructure Specialist - APAC
(Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
Provide daily IT Activity support for Indonesia and other Asia Pasific countries, including but not limited to, Windows Servers, Printers, Networking (WAN & LAN), Computers and periphery equipment, Warehouse IT devices (barcode printers, scanners, Touch Screens), IP phones and cabling; in coordination with Group/Regional ICT teams and local PIC IT. Manage file servers, NAS, ESX vSphere hosts, Cisco switches. Manage AD infrastructure. Manage hardware and software upgrades, to ensure that the integrity of existing software and data is inconsistent in the course of the upgrade, and proper advice is obtained from the manufacturer and followed. Manage the installation of new devices (server, PC’s, printers, cabling) hardware and software so as to minimize operational disruption to the organization, and the delay between acquisition and successful implementation. Oversee daily operations such as backup, checking of systems logs and monitoring of system and network performance. Basic AD management, server management and data backup and restore on daily basis. Keep assets under control: manage an inventory of all server and network equipment and server software products. Coordinate and supervise to ensure that group rules (policies, procedures) are implemented properly in sites, for example, cabling, devices’ standard models, security. Find out and fix risks of ICT Infrastructure together with group and regional ICT Infrastructure team. Monitor and analyze the performance of ICT Services and regularly report to senior management team. Manage project: lead the standarization projects of ICT Infrastructure in countries.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in computer science. Over 3 years of working experience in IT infrastructure in MNC or IT solution provider with matrix relationship. Solid knowledge and strong hands-on experience of Network (Cisco switches, WLC, Access Points), Windows OS (Client and Server OS), AD infrastructure (DC, DNS, DHCP) and exchange, HP ProLiant servers. Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library is a plus. Fluent spoken and written English is a must. Attention to detail and focus on data quality. Excellent communication and time management skills. Self-motivated, self-learning and a team player.
