Hse Supervisor (Drilling & Completion)

The Drilling and completion HSE Supervisor is an experienced person who is responsible for managing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that are related to the drilling, completion and workover operations.
- Communicate effectively with the Drilling Supervisors, Drilling Superintendents and Drilling Engineers to ensure that all HSE requirements are met.
- Monitors that Contractor follows and complies with HSE requirements as stated in the contract.
- Improvement of HSE awareness for prevention of near-misses and incidents during drilling operations.
- Improvement of Contractors adherence and compliance to the Company policies, procedures, plans at drilling site.
- Participation in each Rig Acceptance Inspection for Drilling rigs.
- Leading Contractor HSE MS and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Arrangement and facilitation of risk assessment workshops for all identified activities, monitoring of implementation of control measures.
- Promotion and participation in full implementation of HSE Observation reporting at clusters
- Follow-up on duly action closure of preventative/corrective actions generated on completion of audits, inspections, observations and incident investigation reports.
- Advises on HSE matters including systems of work; safety, occupational health and environmental concerns pertaining to Drilling operations.
- Promote safety awareness among Company and Contractor personnel, conducting regular HSE awareness sessions, inductions and presentations at clusters and other production facilities.
- Recommends on amendments to HSE manuals, HSE procedures, emergency procedures in the light of operational experience and latest developments in the HSE field.
- Participates in monthly HSE and semi-monthly SIMOPS meetings with all involved parties.
- Participates actively in HSE Campaigns launched by HSE department, such as awareness campaigns and HSE award campaigns.
- Coordinates with ERS department and contractors to ensure that firefighting systems, detection systems and emergency equipment at clusters and other production facilities are maintained functional all the time.
- Ensures that all cluster and other production facilities personnel and visitors aware of and comply with Company PPE manual.
- Carries out weekly HSE inspection and audits at clusters and other production facilities to ensure proper adherence to the company policies, procedures, and plans.
- Monitors implementation of PTW procedures at all clusters.
- Ensures cluster personnel familiarity and compliance with environmental protection procedure, regulations, and proper waste management practices.
- Performs the functions stipulated by the COMPANY Policy in the field of industrial safety, labor protection and the environment in the 21st century and elements of the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001 and ISO 4500.
- Participates in investigation of Drilling related incidents/high potential near-misses.
- Conducts Gas/H2S test at rig and well sites.
- Participates in daily video/audio conference meetings with Company and provide last 24 hours update and plans for the next 24 hours, discuss issues related to the performing drilling activities;
**Qualification**
- Higher education in Health, Safety and Environment field or higher technical education in operations of oil and gas industry.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
- At least 7 years' experience including 2 years in same level with independent or major oil companies;
- Work experience in South Iraq projects;
- Understand and demonstrate leadership in all aspects of HSE.
- Work experience in formations containing H2S >3%
- HSE experience in Drilling, Workover or Well Services.
**Skills**
- Under the applicable legislation and the employment contract, Employee bears responsibility for the improper or untimely fulfilment of his duties, instructions and orders of the superior management and local regulations of the Company.
- Demonstrate strong HSE understanding and competencies
- Knowledge of USO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Accident investigation and reporting.
- Knowledge and experience in inspecting and auditing.
- Knowledge of experience in Risk Assessment and Behavior Based Safety.
- Presentational and training skills.
- Fundamentals of Drilling, Workover, Completions, Production Technology.
Technical Writing.
**Preferred chinese or chinese native speaker

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: Rp3,000,000 - Rp3,500,000 per day
