A reputable mining company has a HR Manager (Site) job for a candidate with 10 or more years' experience who is ready to be placed in both Jakarta and/or East Java. Experience in the mining industry, good fluency in English, and strong in dealing with labour union (thousand headcounts) are must-haves.
About the HR Manager (Site) Role:
Reporting to the HR Director and GM Site, you will support the organisation in developing HR policy, recruitment planning, remuneration systems, organisation development, employee engagement and industrial relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Dealing and establishing a solid relationship with labour union
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human resources
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programmes
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

To succeed in this HR Manager (Site) role, you must have at least 10 years of solid HR experience.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related fields
Experience in mining company
People-oriented and results-driven
Used to manage 1000+ headcounts
Proven track record in industrial relations and collective labour agreement negotiation skills
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Competency in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
