What does a insert job title do at Hogarth?

We are currently seeking an experienced HR generalist with a proven track record as a business partner, who is able to quickly establish strong relationships and act as the trusted advisor to senior leaders in their business areas.
You will deliver a proactive, commercially driven HR support and guidance to our employees and the wider business. The role will include HR business partnering, organisational design, employee relations, talent management, reward and wellbeing, and for providing high level support to enable the delivery of the company’s human resources strategy and business objectives.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders:

This role reports to the Head of Office, Jakarta with a functional reporting into the HR Director, APAC

Requirements
Build and maintain effective working relationships with line managers, business leaders and other key stakeholders within your business units. Ensure they can access strategic, operational and best practice advice on a range of HR issues within the business and a positive employee relations climate is maintained. Support, and advise, line managers and business leaders on all aspects of organisational design and change management, including: changes to structures, job roles, reporting lines, process improvements, role eliminations etc. Advise and coach managers on performance, conduct/capability, absence or employee relations matters and ensure that all issues are dealt with in good time, sensitively and appropriately. Partner with and coach line managers, building their competence and confidence to enable them to effectively lead their teams and the business Support managers, where required in improving: productivity, effectiveness, morale and team spirit among employees. Work in partnership with the operational management teams to identify opportunities to support improved organisational and people performance in line with business needs Acquire an in depth understanding of your business units and their people challenges, providing a proactive and commercially aligned support service that is tailored to their needs Remain up to date with HR best practice both generally and in relevant business sectors. Ensure a good understanding of the financial drivers of the business and competitive market activity in order to ensure HR is well placed to provide commercial advice and respond to current and future business challenges. When recruiting, ensure that high performance and high potential candidates are attracted to the business and provide timely and up to date advice to recruiting Managers. Actively review existing people policies and processes (including taking account of new and upcoming employment legislation), making changes to maximize efficiency and introducing new initiatives to ensure line managers are fully supported and able to effectively manage their teams Drive proactive HR interventions and planning processes, including talent identification, resource planning and succession planning Develop effective relationships across other WPP HR teams, and seek out opportunities and joint working that may benefit Hogarth and WPP. Support and challenge senior managers to change their thinking and hone their leadership skills Interpret people metrics and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations Liaise with Hogarth Finance on the budgeting and forecasting of head count cost.
