A multinational agricultural company has an HR Manager job for a candidate with sharp experience in all HR functions, especially with those who have experience dealing with industrial relations at a plant. This role will be based in North Sumatera. Strong English proficiency is must.
About the HR Manager (Based in North Sumatera) Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will mainly manage the people in the factory, covering end-to-end HR aspects, especially in dealing industrial relations area. You also need to ensure and manage strategically that all HR activities are aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the implementation of human resources every day
Ensure that all human resources processes and procedures are carried out properly in accordance with existing SOPs
Ensure that all policies and guidelines and human resources standards are carried out properly
Work closely with Assistant Country HR Managers in guiding employees and taking a better approach and running consistently and fostering relationships with employees and management
Provide advice and guidance and counselling as well as coaching to all managers or department heads in terms of human resources relations
Manage and process salary increases and annual bonuses in this case in collaboration with HR Assistant Manager or HR Head Manager
Provide input and good views to management in terms of human resources
Serve as a contact point (representative) for human resources and becomes a place for human resources in the company
Maintain a close relationship with managers and other staff by providing input relating to human resources, both in terms of costs and budgeting planning, training and development, talent management, compensation and benefits, management performance, labour law and other rules related to employment
To succeed in this HR Manager (Based in North Sumatera) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business leaders, across borders and internal matrix.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years' HR experience both in operational and leadership area
Bachelor's and/or master's degree from top university in Indonesia and/or overseas
Dynamic person, good communication skills
Deep HR knowledge
Ability to work in high pressure
Experience in industrial relations is a must
Work experience in manufacturing company
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
