POSITION Housekeeping Team Leader

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The housekeeping team leader performs a hands-on supervisory role.
Leading and guiding a team of housekeepers to achieve an exceptionally high level of cleanliness, hygiene and order.
The housekeeping team leader will be in charge of inventories, work schedules and periodical tasks.
An important aspect of this role is training and upskilling staff, so exceptional staff development skills are mandatory.

Safe Chemical Handling
National Police Clearance (mandatory)
For religious and cultural reasons a female is preferred to have relative freedom of movement in the female only areas of this private home.
Middle East Location.
EXPERIENCE

5+ years' experience working as a housekeeper in a senior position
2+ years managing staff
Experience working in VVIP private household essential

KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

Exceptional teamwork, communication and collaboration skills
Leadership capabilities - able to motivate, lead and upskill a team.
Exceptional organizing skills
Great attention to detail and creativity
In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, cleanliness and hygiene
Capable of building and maintaining inventories.
Must have advanced computer literacy.
Advanced MS office skills - word, excel, outlook, ppt.
Must be able to think of your feet and solve a multitude of problems.
Works well under pressure
Advanced housekeeping skills - able to recognize and know best methods for cleaning various surfaces, linens and objects.
Experience training and developing staff
**Must be willing to travel.
