About the Head of Risk Role:
In the business critical role, you will control and monitor risk and management strategy. You will also need to implement the initiative to manage multiple end risk management which will impact the growth of this Unicorn Technology business.
Key Responsibilities:
Growing relevant and right products (including developing new products) through managing risk with the goal of ensuring sustainability while meeting business targets
Growing the risk culture of the company on all levels
Developing policy framework for Financial Service products
Ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements
Leveraging technology to improve all aspects of risk management
To succeed in this Head of Risk job, you must be proficient in English, have solid experience in technical finance and risk management skills, as well as excellent leadership skills.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of five years' experience in Banking/Financial industry
Minimum of four years' experience in combination of managing consumer credit policy, operational risk and compliance risk
Experience in effective implementation and usage of credit model/score on managing credit risk
Familiarity with managing regulators and a principal understanding of regulations related to the banking/lending industry
Familiarity with how debt collection works and the ability to direct collection strategies based on the overall risk management strategy and to turn feedback into improvements for the overall risk management framework
Ability to dynamically work on managing multiple ends of risk management aspects to support business growth while not breaching risk appetite
Appetite and flexibility to leverage both traditional credit risk analytics (historical behaviour) and alternative data sources (big data) to manage risk
Experience in managing team with multiple discipline and background
