A challenging Head of Finance (AVP - VP) job has just become available at a global financial services firm in its Jakarta office.
About the Head of Finance (AVP - VP) Role:
As the Head of Finance (AVP - VP) you will be responsible for managing the management, tax and statutory reporting. You will also be responsible for other ad hoc reporting and projects when deemed necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and coach the team to optimise team performance
Ensure the team complies with current procedures and review processes from time to time with an aim to improve the efficiency of daily operations to better support local management
Plan/manage the financial reporting process, AR and AP functions
Account closing, including but not limited to review and sign-off journals prepared by accountant
Maintain detailed schedules for audit and tax purposes
Review/provide analysis and commentaries on monthly accounts
Liaise with external auditor for statutory audit reports
Ensure tax compliance in respect of corporate tax, VAT, WHT and related matters
Prepare/review periodic regulatory returns and surveys
Act as a liaison for banking-related matters
Provide financial information on regional/group reporting purposes

To succeed in this Head of Finance (AVP - VP) role, you must have experience in managing reports for both internal and external stakeholders on timely manner. Having experience in a multinational financial services is a great advantage.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role
Hold a CPA with a degree in accountancy or equivalent
Good financial analysis and problem solving abilities
Good leadership and people management skills
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
Good team player with strong personal skills
Able to maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
