Head Of Finance

An excellent Head of Finance job has just become available at an international unicorn property and housing company in Jakarta, Indonesia. You wil be reporting directly to the Country Manager.
About this Head of Finance Role:
In this business critical role as the Head of Finance, you will be responsible mainly for statutory reporting, accounting, financial statements and financial operations including AP, AR and Treasury. You will be responsible for supervising eight team members and coordination of the company’s and group’s financial, accounting and operations matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Improve the company's accounting process and system as well as financial reporting

Supervise daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly operations within the finance and accounting department (three entities – Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand)

Manage accounts receivables, payments and cash operations

System implementation and financial process and procedures

Review and provide accurate financial reports and including monthly management accounting report

Review and monitor tax calculations and payments done by the tax consultant

Liaise with external stakeholders – including external auditor, bank etc.

Provide recommendations to management and act as business partner to enhance efficiency and productivity

Key Requirements:

Finance or accounting degree

At least seven years of experience

In-depth knowledge of accounting, local GAAP and IFRS

Experience in a Big 4 is a plus

Relevant experience of system implementation is an advantage

Strong analytical skills

Fluency in written and verbal English

Good leadership and team management, independent and proactive
