As one of the world's leading providers of outdoor furniture solutions, with over 1,000 employees globally, we invite talented individuals and future leaders to join our company.Available Position : Head of Drafter – RnDRequirements:Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Visual Communication Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields.Proven experience in furniture drafting and engineering, with a minimum of 5–7 years in a Drafter/Engineering Drafter role.Minimum 4 years of leadership experience managing a drafting/engineering team in a manufacturing environment.Advanced in SolidWorks, including 3D modelling, assembly, and technical detailing.Strong analytical ability with solid mathematical and engineering problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in technical documentation.Strong project management capability, good leadership skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.Highly Organized, proven experience with drawings and revision control.Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across departments (Production, R&D, QC, PPIC, etc.).
Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the entire Drafter Department, ensuring high-quality technical drawings and engineering documentation for all furniture products.Review, finalize, and approve detailed blueprints required to support production, assembly, woodworking, and finishing processes.Oversee the creation, evaluation, and release of the Bill of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, construction details, and other engineering data.Coordinate with the Prototype team to monitor and validate the prototyping process before mass production begins.Ensure all drawings meet company standards, manufacturing feasibility, and customer requirements.Maintain a secure system of drawing control, ensuring that only the correct version of any drawing is in use.Provide technical guidance and coaching to the team, ensuring continuous improvement and capability development.Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support new product development, design revisions, and production troubleshooting.Maintain engineering documentation, revision control, and drawing database accuracy.Ensure that rendering and visual representations of new products are prepared for customer approval when required.Do you have any further questions, or are you ready to join us?
