About the Group Financial Controller Role (Expats are welcome):

The Group Financial Controller is expected to partner with company leaders in achieving business objectives by ensuring accurate reporting and efficient management of company finances while providing effective support to internal and external stakeholders. Based in Jakarta, this position will report to the Group CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
Account for accounting and financial reporting processes to produce regular financial reports for internal and external requirements Build and sustain a finance, IT, and supply chain control and governance environment consistent with those of publicly listed companies in the US Provide leadership and direction for maximising financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial and reporting functions Develop and implement best practices policies, processes, and procedures to ensure cost effective and efficient work processes Lead the design and implementation of accounting processes and controls to ensure compliance Provide ongoing guidance to business partners and leaders throughout the organisation with regards to accounting processes and financial reporting and to ensure P&L reflects accurately the reality of business unit Partner and collaborate with treasury and tax functions in designing policies, processes, and tools to ensure implementation of robust accounting processes to monitor the achievement of business goals Manage budget and control expenses effectively Develop and maintain KPIs to measure performance and demonstrate continual improvement
To succeed in this Group Financial Controller job, you should be able to work efficiently and be very hands-on in organisation transformation.
Key Requirements:
10 - 15 years' controllership/management position in a US-listed company CPA/ACCA is required, MBA is a plus Strong academic performance is compulsory Strong combination between commercial thinking and technical finance management skills Ability to lead a team in times of significant change Demonstrated success leading and developing a strong team in a complex, deadline-driven environment Extremely strong technical accounting skills including familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP (Must have)
