About the Role

As our Head of PMM for Users Spend, you’ll take the wheel in orchestrating a concerted strategy to strengthen GoPay’s social impact perception, both in the hearts and minds of our users and key opinion formers. Reporting directly to the GoPay Marketing Head, you’ll build a strong foundation of overall GoPay penetration through Food & Groceries, Transport & Logistics, Retail & Commerce, Games & Entertainment, Bills & Pulsa. Together with Pod Leaders and Growth Lead, you’ll collaborate with various internal cross-functional leaders from the Growth, Risk, Product, CCU, Partnership and Research teams to align their strategies with yours to grow monthly transacting users (MTU) through new and retained users and oversee the execution and impact measurement of their deliverables. Your efforts will better position GoPay as the most preferred and trusted hub of user’s money management in Southeast Asia and beyond.
What You Will Do

Manage the Product Marketing team (consists of 4 PMMs), which includes coaching and developing existing members, and hiring and onboarding new members as needed
Build GoPay's perception as the most trusted and safest brand in fintech
Grow GoPay's penetration through end to end marketing efforts both covering marketing and promotional activities
Understand the users insights, GoPay’s product magic and how to connect the two through a robust GTM plan and strategy
Orchestrate concerted strategy to strengthen GoPay's social impact perception - both in the heart and mind of users and Key Opinion Formers
Work closely with the internal cross-functional leaders, varied from Pod Leaders, Growth, Risk, Product, CCU, Partnership and Research, to align on strategy, oversee their execution efforts, and measure impact post-release
Work closely with external stakeholders for relevant activities (i.e. bank partners)
Manage RPL & Marketing expenditure as per budget to achieve OKR efficiently
Work closely with the Brand team to build overall GTM strategy and plan
Build the team’s capability and grow them into solid product marketing experts
What You Will Need

At least 12 years of work experience, with at least 4 years of experience in product marketing management, digital marketing, or other related fields
Proficiency with multiple analytic and database tools common within a marketing organization (e.g., Amplitude, MixPanel, Tableau, Marketo, Google Analytics, etc.)
Ability to roll up sleeves and get in the trenches to get the job done right
Skilled and comfortable handling data, and can independently harness it effectively to generate insights, make decisions, and drive growth
Skilled at market research; a “do-whatever it-takes” mindset to understand your market, customers and competition better than anyone, and able to integrate this information into your marketing strategies
A passion for building user-focused product experiences and communication by creating genuine and authentic customer relationships
A bias toward action, excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to distill complex plans into clear and actionable tasks
Strong project management capabilities; ability to manage multiple campaigns with a sharp focus on detail without losing sight of the big picture
A track record of driving highly effective marketing campaigns and product changes by making users’ problems your own
A shared passion with GoPay’s mission for increased financial inclusion across Southeast Asia
A keen interest in fintech and willing to learn about the industry
About the Team

Our Product Marketing team, a subsidiary of the larger GoPay Marketing team, consists of 40+ people based in Jakarta who are experts in product marketing, branding, social media management, and content creation. This is a very close-knit group who ensures Gojek’s overall infrastructure which enables sustainable business growth is solid and healthy.

We like to visualize ourselves as a bunch of Spider Men/Women securing webs across high-rise buildings so our GoTroops can move around on higher levels with ease. We take the time to understand the various needs and preferences within our Gojek ecosystem (consisting predominantly of our customers, driver-partners, and merchant-partners), rely on numbers and data-points, and build off what makes our products unique in order to formulate our market strategy and path forward as a team.

Last but certainly not least, our team is driven by our shared mission to provide financial inclusion for every Indonesian, anytime, anywhere. We strive to help them live a better life through providing easy financial access and services. After all, it’s said that people don’t buy what you do, people buy why you do it.

The COVID era has been a challenging time for a lot of us, so our team has been taking time on our calls to trade advice on the best ways to keep sane with this new work set up.
