About the GM Construction - Mining Infrastructure Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, you will play a key role in the infrastructure facilities business team's continued development and success in the Jakarta office.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the project engineering department and develop the company's project engineering strategy
Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit
Oversee construction, quality, scheduling and cost management of projects
Deploy various methodologies to analysis processes and recommending modification to minimise escalations, reduce rejections, improve operating efficiency, control variability, cost and reduce cycle time
Lead and be responsible for all the engineering technology implementation and effectiveness
Understand customer requirements and propose solutions in order to manage client relationships and satisfaction
Participate in projects prior to the beginning of exploration, design, construction, and unit selection supervision
Develop relationships between departments to achieve company goals
Perform administrative supervisory tasks including evaluating employee performance, source necessary skills and resources based on manpower forecast to provide managerial supports in administrative matters, including team development and succession planning
Develop, manage and control the capital budget for the department and supervise the preparation of funding requests for capital projects to ensure all engineering activities are comply with the current procedures and regulations. This consists of annual planning and overhead budget
Carry out project activities to anticipate impediments of project progress and to assist in the resolution of problems which may adversely affect project design, cost or schedule to ensure all project operations are well performed
To succeed in this GM Construction - Mining Infrastructure role, you will need to have exceptional strategic and analytical thinking, technical expertise in construction for facilities as well as in oil and gas, mining or civil projects.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years' experience managing in a similar industry, such as EPC construction, oil and gas, or mining. Heavy influencing skills to work together with teams across multiple cities direct and indirectly
Results-driven, fast-paced, high initiative skills and the ability to work and multitask under pressure
Knowledge of EPC projects and infrastructure industry and knowledge of region is a plus
