Formalities and Custom Clearance Specialist About the role As a Formalities and Custom Clearance Specialist at PT Altus Logistics Services Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through the logistics and supply chain process.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time position is based in our South Jakarta office.
What you'll be doing Liaising with customs authorities and other government agencies to complete all necessary documentation and clearance procedures for import and export shipments.
Supporting all formalities activities related to Customs offices and other government offices to support Logistics and Marine business activities.
Preparing and submitting customs declarations, permits, and other required paperwork in a timely and compliant manner.
Tracking shipment status and following up on any issues or delays with customs processing.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support customs clearance activities.
Collaborating cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to coordinate customs clearance processes.
Staying up-to-date with changing customs regulations and policies to ensure compliance.
Managing the masterlist process with all stakeholders.
What we're looking for Minimum 4 years of experience in a customs clearance or formalities role, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of customs regulations, documentation requirements, and clearance processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office applications, with the ability to maintain detailed records and generate reports.
Adaptable and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with Indonesian customs and import/export regulations is highly desirable.
