Position Overview
Work Responsibilities
As a data analyst, you will carry out analytic work to facilitate the growth of Merpay’s FinTech business.
Job Description
Analyze financial business utilizing your knowledge of the FinTech industry
Analytic Environment
Analysis platform: BigQuery / Looker / Data Studio / MySQL, etc.
Analysis tools: Google Spreadsheet, Excel, Python (3.0), Tableau, etc.
Other: GitHub, Slack, JIRA
Required Experience
Practical experience in the FinTech industry
Skill set necessary to complete analytic tasks
The following experience working in FinTech:
Drafting hypotheses and identifying issues
Incorporating hypotheses and issues into topics for data analysis
Extracting data which matches that analysis topic (requires knowledge of SQL)
Visualizing/summarizing analysis results
Preferred Experience
Practical experience in credit business

Screening Criteria
The following skills and experience are covered by other teams and will not factor into applicant screening:
Skills and experience in data engineering, such as data pipelines and ETL
Skills and experience in data science, such as machine learning

Scheduled working hours: 10 AM – 7 PM
Currently, due to COVID-19 pandemic, we have introduced a full-flex system without core time to increase the choice of working hours and allow for more flexible working styles.*does not apply to all positions
