Finance Specialist

A Finance Specialist job has become available at a multinational trading company, to assist in the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
About the Finance Specialist Role:
As the Finance Specialist, you will report to the Finance Manager and provide monthly financial statements and analysis. This includes month-end closing reporting (end-to-end accounting), financial analysis, and process management. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable multinational trading company.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the general ledger as per company's accounting policy and statutory requirements
Complete the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting package accurately and in a timely manner
Complete the internal management reporting package on a timely basis and to discuss with management on the financial position relative to plan and highlight variance from plan
Manage the company's working capital and fixed assets
Prepare forecast reporting on sales, cash flow, and AR
Ensure all key internal controls procedures are enforced
Ensure the systems effectively and accurately report financial results and/or recommend system development requirements and opportunities

To succeed in this Finance Specialist role, you must be knowledgeable in full accounting cycles and processes.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is a must
Knowledge in ACCPAC SAGE 300 is a must
At least five years' experience in accounting at a multinational company (preferred)
Good accounting and financial analysis skills (P/L, B/S, working capital and cash flow)
Excellent interpersonal skills and good command of communication skills
Capable of problem analysis and solving in difficult situations and when required, within strict timescales and deadlines
