Drive consistent compliance with Finance policies and procedures - GL management, Internal & statutory audits of Wabtec entities Manage monthly US GAAP financials, review accounting reconciliations Drive projects for simplification & standardization of Systems Drive accuracy and monitor the metrics on compliance, account reconciliations, Stat to US GAAP accounting & reconciliations, Turnaround time etc. Manage Monthly closing , reporting and other regulatory filings Partner finance managers in driving accuracy & completeness of financials and enhancements in operational accounting area and drive controllership reviews. Ensures integrity of financial systems, general ledgers and sub-ledgers and identify system enhancements to maximize productivity and reduce operating costs Support compliance with Direct & Indirect tax requirements. Set up Costing standards for defined Bill of Material along with stakeholders Partner with business to manage Operational execution tracker and maintain dashboards to measure progress Inventory budgeting & forecasting, perform inventory variance analysis and periodical physical verifications along with Operations team, Analysis of inventory consumption and overheads absorptions Drive cost saving projects and Monthly Operating Reviews with Business & Operational leaders. Provide business support to Project & operations Lead financial management & accounting processes for Wabtec Operating Units in Indonesia & Malaysia Support Treasury Operations, Customs & tax payments Ensure proper internal controls while maximizing operational efficiency including maintenance of Fixed Assets Registers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables,
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CICPA or equivalent accounting certificate is a plus Total 5 yrs of experience with a minimum 2-3 years of General Ledger work experience in multi-national companies Written and verbal fluency in English Well versed in all accounting principles and internal control framework to be able to design compliant processes and drive necessary changes Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook Oracle experience or ERP experience
