A leading property developer and real estate company is looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager. In this job, you will be responsible for overseeing its finance operations, planning, taxation and treasury functions.
About the Finance & Accounting Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role as you will be responsible for accounting, statutory reporting, financial operations, business planning and taxation reporting to the Regional Head of Finance. Based in the Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of an established company.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Manage outsource functions
Oversee and lead the organisation to achieve department goals and objectives
Provide advice and guideline to business on the accounting of transactions and implications
Cash flow actual and forecast
Accounts payable
Maintain controls over accounting transactions
Ensure all transactions are valid with supporting documents
Manage asset transactions (e.g. purchase, depreciation, write off)
Ensure P&L and balance sheet accounts are properly booked
Issue timely and accurate financial statements
Manage annual budgeting and forecasts
Lead to perform balance sheet reconciliation monthly
Provide financial analysis e.g. capital
Ensure control self-assessment are done by business thoroughly and timely
Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) during audit
Ensure adherence to statutory and corporate accounting guidelines
To succeed in this Finance & Accounting Manager role, you will need to have a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in the property developer and real estate industry. You will also need strong communication, analytical, creative thinking and leadership skills.
Key Requirements:
Accounting graduate, experience working in Big 4 Accounting Firm is a must
Minimum of three to five years' experience
Experience in property development and real estate industry
Worked in a multinational/prominent reputable national company
Good command of English (writing and speaking)
Sound thinking logic and solutions-oriented
Strong leadership and teamwork with high commitment to deliver
