At Caterpillar’s Indonesia Batam, we manufacture Hydraulic Shovels products used in building the infrastructure and mining to move materials that makes a better world.
When you work as a Maintenance Supervisor at Caterpillar Indonesia Batam you will supervise and lead employees responsible for performing Facility Maintenance Functions through TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to achieve the most reliable OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to support Organization PQVC (People, Quality, Velocity, & Cost) Targets.
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
Safety is paramount. Ensure employee safety, health and the environment are protected.
Manage and Supervise Facility TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) Program.
Understood the concept of Maintenance Management System (MMS)
Manage the Facility’s Asset Records (Building, Machine, Equipment and Utilities) as the baseline of Maintenance Management System (MMS).
Manage and Improve Maintenance Standard Works.
Manage Facility related Audit, Calibration, Certification and Trainings.
Plan, prioritize, coordinate and monitor on site construction and facility maintenance activities of outside contractors.
Manage the hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, pipeline, instrumentation, lube, HVAC (Heating Ventilating & Air Conditioning) and related classes of facility maintenance’s related disciplines
Medium-Skills of Project Management, Plan and Scheduling are important to properly manage the maintenance and maintenance-related project or major work tasks
Manage and Supervise the Contractors Service Agreement.
Supervise employees and outside contractors, including job assignment, workload monitoring, providing material, equipment and assistance to determine workflow.
Provide Facility Support and Service Manager with project status updates.
Assign resources as needed ensuring good resource utilization.
Develops and motivates resources to ensure objectives are achieved.
Evaluates and recommends external vendors.
Plans, implements and controls facility maintenance budget.
Manages project portfolio for facility in coordination with other functional areas.
Processes and coordinates special work orders.
Provides miscellaneous administrative support including reporting, manpower data, and timekeeping.
Caterpillar’s Facility Support & Service Supervisor provide direction to both Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar resources.
Hire and train a competent staff in the various functions under areas of responsibilities.
The successful candidate must bring:
Proficient in English.
College or university degree in an engineering or-related discipline and equivalent.
At least 5 (five) years of work-related experience and TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) implementation.
Have experience in project management.
Knowledge in systems utilization and facility / plant engineering concepts.
Understanding of IFM methodologies and implementation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Thorough knowledge of various engineering, manufacturing and / or maintenance standards and practices and manufacturing systems.

Have AK3 series (Government Safety Certifications) and Facility Maintenance related Trainings
