Environment Specialist (Hourly)

Description When you are a Safety Specialist at Caterpillar, you will assist the EHS Supervisor to prevent injuries and illnesses and to comply with Governmental Regulations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

•Assist EHS Supervisor with conducting accident investigations, near miss investigations, and accident follow ups.
•Set up safety projects and ensuring they are followed through to completion.
•Work with all departments to ensure employees are receiving proper communications regarding safety related issues and hazard communications.
•Develop documents and maintain safety work instructions, job procedures, and key points.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

•Minimum education Diploma (D1,D2,D3,D4) majoring inEnvironmental Engineering.
•Knowledgeable in 5S, QCO, Standard Work
•Working knowledge of Windows operating environment, Microsoft Applications, and QSI applications
•Good organizational and project management skills
•Demonstrated ability to work independently or in diverse groups
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Proven ability to constructively interact with area Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators, Manufacturing Support Groups, and shop floor personnel
•Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
•Good knowledge in Safety, Environmental policies and practices
•Motivated and self-directed in working with little or no supervision

Desired Qualifications:

* Good knowledge of Anchor Coupling’s/Caterpillar’s Safety, Environmental policies and practices
* Knowledge in some SAP applications

* Certified in AK3 Umum
