You'll own technical direction, people management, and delivery — bridging engineering with product, risk, compliance, and business.
What You'll Do Drive payment gateway architecture: checkout, routing, settlement, reconciliation, chargeback, refund Lead design reviews for fraud detection, 3 DS, tokenization, and ensure PCI-DSS / ISO ***** compliance Own full SDLC and incident response — MTTR and uptime ******%+) are top priorities Manage, hire, and develop engineers; run 1-on-1s, OKRs, and performance reviews Partner with PMs, Risk, and Compliance to balance velocity, security, and stability Must Have 7+ years software engineering, 2+ years as EM/Tech Lead Strong in Golang, Node.js/Type Script, PHP Deep Postgre SQL & Redis; distributed systems (Kafka/Rabbit MQ, idempotency, saga) API design (REST, g RPC, webhooks) and security fundamentals (PCI-DSS, OWASP) Payment domain knowledge: authorization, settlement, chargeback, 3 DS, card network integration Proven track record leading 5+ engineers Strong English communication Nice to Have High-risk payment experience (i Gaming, forex, crypto) PCI-DSS audit, AML frameworks Fraud engine, multi-acquirer routing, payment orchestration AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, observability stack What We Offer
