Minimun educational qualification
Diploma in electrical or technical /industrial high school with min 5/8 years experience
Minimum required skill, experience, training
Readings, writting and speaking english is a must
Proven of experience of working in the heavy industrial plant with exposure automated environment, hydraulic and electrical drives and schematics of rolling mills equipment and utilities
Be able to read and understand electrical instruction manuals, electrical drawing and job instruction from shift supervisor
Core responsibilities; (specific responsibilities are define in the applicable procedures and work instructions)
Attend to all equipment breakdowns and planned work with minimum direction and supervision, within the time constraint given to reduce production downtime
Technically asses the requirement allocated jobs and select the necessary tools and equipment to complete such work
Using the computerized maintenance system; arrange the spare parts from warehouse and maintains records of all maintenance work completed
Ensure that maintenance works are carried out in accordance with the safety procedures and plan operational requirements
Monitor any repeated breakdwon and makes approved modifications to resolve the problem to avoid recurence
Provided on the to new crafts in order to equip them with the necessary skills to be able to carry out maintenance repair as works planned
Effectively be able to test, fault find, diagnose failures and rectify the problem on electrical plant equipments
Be able to receive, read and understand drawings and job instructions from immediate superior
Takes all necessary actions in designated area to achive good results and executes all jobs as directed by his superiors and management from time to time
Accountabilities: Related to Quality Management System
Accountable for performing interventions in accordnace with the maintenance plan
Accountable for updating the status of maintenance carried out
Accountable for orderng required spares
Accountable for ensuring maintenance of equipment if performed in accordance with the approved checklist
Accountabilities: Related to OSHAS 18001
Accountable for ensuring task is not performed without a work permit
Accountability for reporting, investigating and monitoring near misses / incident in area of control, conduct and participates in all activities relating removals in hazards work area
Accountability for reporting all incidents that may cause health related harm to the relevant personnel, regardless of severity
Accountable for following relevant company procedures and instructions related to health within the scope of work area and actively participate in their implementation in the section
Accountability to report all process or other incidents that may cause environmental harm to the relevant personnel, regardless of severity
Accountable to follow the procedures and instructions related to EMS within the scope of the work area
Accountability in ensuring that any roles responsibilities identified in the EMS responsibility matrix (RACI) are fully understood
