**Job Description Summary**: The role is responsible for working with the GE Healthcare Business Leaders, and Global EHS Staff to develop and deploy Environmental Health & Safety programs & policies to mitigate risk, drive regulatory compliance and establish a positive EHS culture.
This includes driving business EHS goals, programs, and processes for the zones within South East Asia.
The EHS Lead will be responsible for day-to-day EHS leadership and support, which includes the development, planning and implementation of Environmental Health and Safety programs based on local regulations and GEHC Policies.
This individual will also function in a team environment, first with other members of the zone level Staff, Engineers and Technicians to ensure EHS compliance together (e.g., inspections, recordkeeping, trainings and other EHS program activities to ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance in the distributed workforce) and then with the Global GEHC EHS team members.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Manage implementation of EHS programs by operationalizing EHS partnering with leadership to ensure compliance with applicable laws, local regulations and GE/GEHC policies.
- Buildup EHS Priorities with local leaders and drive rigor and execution to EHS objectives & metrics.
- Support EHS compliance and program audits for service operations & projects.
Provide follow-up and support post governance/business audit to ensure execution to action plan, risk mitigation & program improvements
- Provide coaching to operations team in driving EHS programs with rigor and partner to integrate EHS in day to day operations.
- Drive networking across GE business as well as local industries to leverage best practices and improve local programs
- Drive active EHS engagement & management of change for business strategy related to new product introductions, product transfers & rooftop consolidations, etc.
- Keep management apprised of progress and significant developments on key projects
- Influence cross functional teams to operationalize and standardize EHS work practices
- Lead incident investigations and drive closure of effective corrective/preventive actions
- Analyze trends and performance, provide routine feedback, and drive actions to improve performance
- Assure good standing and action plans with GE's Environmental Health & Safety Framework, piloting external contractors or vendors as needed
- Interface with environmental, health and safety regulatory agencies as needed
- Execute required actions to implement and operationalize a sustainable EHS management system (GEHC EHS Framework 2.0)
- Drive EHS compliance and programs effectiveness through audits, process / equipment reviews and site inspections
- Commit to collaborate on new solutions and effective diagnosis of events occurred both within and outside of the site boundaries
- Collaborate with Operations and other teams to implement programs to include change management and drive a proactive and positive safety culture
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelors or Masters in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering or related field
- 8+ years experience leading environmental and safety compliance programs in a distributed workforce / manufacturing environment
- Familiar with incident investigation methodologies including 5-Why
- Indonesia S1 education majoring in K3 / Public Health and possess a valid K3 General / Construction / Oil and Gas certificate
- Excellent communications skills, including writing and speaking English
- Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and influence teams, drive change and interact cross functionally.
Ability to manage multiple diverse priorities effectively
- Demonstrated experience with H&S regulations and program management globally
- Strong knowledge of Indonesia and SEA EHS related regulatory requirements.
