**Overview**
DevTech is currently managing USAID/Indonesia's Economic Growth Support Activity (EGSA).
EGSA has three objectives: i) enabling evidence-based decision making through ongoing analysis that links together the United State Government's Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS), Journey to Self-Reliance (J2SR), and Government of Indonesia (GOI) priorities (CDCS); (ii) improving Government of Indonesia (GOI technical capacity in tax collection, public expenditure, and financial accountability; and (iii) improving the business enabling environment for foreign and domestic business entities.
**Responsibilities**
- At the direction of EGSA COP, support economic research which includes prepare, collate, and analyze economic data on various research topics as needed, conducts literature reviews, monitors and analyzes relevant material from a wide variety of sources
- Create tables, graphs and other visualizations to communicate research findings.
- Write drafts of research documents based on data work.
- Prepare bi-weekly updates on Indonesian economy, including but not limited to macroeconomic indicators, government finances, trade, and regional updates.
- Under the coordination of EGSA Chief of Party and Project Director, conduct rapid research and prepare report on topics as requested by counterparts
- Manage survey and field activities
- Perform other related duties as required
**Qualifications**
- Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.
- Experienced in conducting economic research and analysis, preferably on macroeconomic, trade, and/or market analysis
- University degree in economics, finance, math, or statistics
- Strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software
- Proficiency in English oral and written
- Ability to write analysis in English and Bahasa Indonesia
