- Works with MDS / Emerge in improving search engine optimization.
- Ensures property information is displayed correctly and effectively on Marriott.com, Marriottse.com, properties.com & Expedia, Agoda, Booking.com, Wotif, Last Minute Travel.com, Travelocity, The Neat Group, Sit 59 ,Priceline.com and others.
- Develops landing pages and jump pages as needed for promotions with the different market segments to aid in one-click bookings for local accounts/partners, groups and marketing campaigns.
- Identifies alternate search engine partnerships (Paid inclusion programs) (i.e., Inkomi, Ask Jeeves, Alta Vista, Mama and Lyco's).
- Manages Marriott-sourced e-commerce opportunities (e.g., Marriott Rewards e-mails, individual property e-mails, promotional listings on Marriottrewards.com).
- Extends existing property promotions through targeted e-channels.
- Interacts with corporate e-commerce, strategic alliances and other corporate departments to ensure leadership of the properties in any e-marketing opportunities.
- Researches e-commerce opportunities for all market segments: business transient, leisure, group catering and food and beverage.
- Investigates placement in: Yellowpages.com, Superpages.com, Yahoo.com, Yellow pages, AOL yellow pages, Switchboard.com, Realpages.com, BellSouth, Citysearch.com and others.
- Coordinates the participation in free (or minimal cost) attraction websites.
- Uncovers solicitation opportunities for managers in each market.
- Participates in weekly Revenue Management strategy meetings.
- Daily checking for rate and inventory disparity
- Interacts with superior, revenue and reservation to ensure ecommerce implementation in line with operations
- Research marketing intelligence and promotions offered by competitors
- Load promotions, rates and inventories on all OTA
- Working collaboratively with Cluster Ecommerce Manager and Account Manager of MDS to manage SEO
- Submitting optimization form through Efast
- Updating metadata through Efast
- Submitting deals through Brandworks and Tripadvisor offers
- Managing content across online channels ; HWS, OTA, Metadata, Review Site and social media
- Managing social media post on daily basis and develop the strategy to increase the engagement.
- Ensuring UNAP consistency to support organic search optimization
- Managing PLUS platform, Travelads, and paid search through Efast
- Pulling reports and sending with critique to GM, DOSM and Cluster ecommerce manager
- Defining needs period and running Retargeting Campaign with assistance of Cluster Ecommerce Manager
- Merchandising offers on all online channels
- Updating eAction plan
- Working closely with Revenue Manager to define market and offer competitive rates
- Working closely with PR Manager to showcase outlets on marketing platform and apps
