(E-Commerce) Data Engineer

**About the Company**

Our client is a Series A funded Indonesian online group buying platform that helps people connect with like minded people who want to buy the same item/product at a discounted price.
The team is spread across India and Indonesia, and is led by experienced founders who have founded, setup, scaled and exited businesses across India and Indonesia.
They have raised our first round of funding, and are growing extremely fast.
We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer to implement both back-end and front
- end software solutions to serve both internal and external customers.
The position entails working in an agile team to develop Java
- and React-based projects that support our system.
**Responsibilities**:

- Create data processing pipeline from various sources (Internal Databases, external data such as spreadsheet, Google Analytics/CleverTap) and put them into OLAP
- Communicate with various functions about their data need and ensure our data warehouse is ready to support them
- Champion data quality dimensions and enforce them to various data stakeholders (Product, Tech and Data team)
- Monitor the capacity and performance of our data platform and tune the performance when anomaly is detected
- Constantly update domain knowledge and skills

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years on handling data roles
- Technical Skill : CDC(Change Data Capture) with Kafka/Debezium or other Stream Data Processing, Python/Java, SQL, Airflow, dbt, GCP/AWS
- Soft Skill : Communication, Critical Thinking, Detail Person
- Collaborative team spirit
