Diesel Truck Mechanic - Night Shift - Jackson, Ms

Diesel Truck Mechanic with 2 years experience (preferably with CAT equipment). Must be flexible with Shift hours and must be 21 years of age. Requires previous supervisory experience and some management skills.
Duties:
Perform Preventive Maintenance duties on schedule.
Do ordinary and extraordinary repairs on company equipment as needed.
Operate company equipment as needed.
Keep work area clean and free from hazards daily.
Fill out repair orders completely as jobs are finished.
Read daily "Driver Vehicle Inspection Report" and make repairs as needed to keep trucks in safe repair.
All other duties as specified by supervisor.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have intermediate mechanical skills, ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions, and furnish own set of basic hand tools.
Must be able to do preventive maintenance and repair to company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES NEEDED:
Must have the physical ability to hear and follow instructions.
Must have the physical ability to lift truck parts and other equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. on a daily basis.
Must be physically able to pull wrenches from about six feet above the ground.
Must be physically able to climb ladder on trucks.
Must be physically able to push and pull using whole body.
