You will play a critical role in developing our ML/AI solutions to mine data for insights, build predictive models, and improve the overall effectiveness of our consumer lending processes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, validate, monitor, and maintain machine learning and statistical models to understand and predict customer behavior and credit risk.Use predictive modeling and analytics to manage credit risk and optimize growth in various business domains, including risk management, fraud prevention, marketing, customer experience, and collections.Design and execute A/B experiments with proper statistical tests and analysis.Ability to create reusable production-level end-to-end data pipelines to generate features using DBT is a plus.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business problems into actionable data-driven solutions.Work closely with the leadership team to design data products to achieve business objectives, supporting new product development and enhancing customer experience.Collaborate and initiate innovative data science projects to advance financial inclusion.QualificationsMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.Minimum 3 years of experience in a data science role and managing machine learning models in production, ideally in fintech, banking, lending, or a related field.Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, clustering, classification, and optimization algorithms.Fluency in Python and SQL.Familiarity with data visualization tools like Metabase, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.Basic understanding of financial and lending industry concepts and regulatory environment.Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with strong business acumen.Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex data, context, and implications to non-technical stakeholders.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at JULO by 2x.Get notified about new Data Scientist jobs in Jakarta, Indonesia.
