Job Description
As aData Analyst,you will work as a part of a diverse team of Data Analyst, Data Scientist, and Engineers, to drive the business through data driven customer insights. Your mission is to synthesize disconnected streams of customers data into cohesive insights. We need you to be a do-er, and when you found interesting questions, you never let it sit there for long to get the answers. You immerse yourself in the world of data because you know that’s where the truth is. You explore data with advanced analytics and is not afraid to deal with very large data sets to get the most impactful answers.
Qualifications
Main Responsibilities:
- Use the transformation power of data and technology to answer important business questions.
- Build scalable solutions so that we improve the understanding and analytical power of our key stakeholders.
- Create stories through incredible narratives and meaningful visualizations, because you know every data has their own story.
- Answer strategic questions using statistics, decision science, and other data-driven methods.
Qualifications:
- You have to be curious, insanely curious
- Unafraid to deal with large, dirty, and messy data
- Comfortable working with open-ended questions
- At least a Bachelor degree in computing intensive subjects, e.g. finance, financial mathematics, computer science, mathematics, physics, bio-informatics, engineering
- At least basic statistics skills
- 4+ years of data related experience is a must
- Knowledgeable in SQL (Compulsory) and basic Python/R (Compulsory)
- Familiarity with big data ecosystems such as Spark / Impala
- Advanced statistics knowledge
- Knowledge in business strategy framework
- Experienced in using advanced analytics/machine learning in the real world scenario
