This role is ideal for someone with deep hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 security and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS) who also excels in incident detection and response .
We're looking for a professional with good English communication skills, a strong track record of long-term employment, and a desire to grow with our client in a permanent role .
Key Responsibilities: Configure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft 365 security tools such as Defender for Microsoft 365, Intune, Conditional Access, and Azure AD.
Support cloud security across Azure and AWS environments.
Lead and assist in incident detection, analysis, and response across multiple systems Review logs, alerts, and dashboards daily to identify potential threats Assist in conducting vulnerability scans, internal audits, and basic penetration testing.
Implement and update basic security policies, procedures, and awareness initiatives.
Support the development of incident response plans and security metrics (KPI, KRI).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement security improvements.
Maintain documentation for security controls and processes.
Support external client audits and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
At least 5 years' experience in cybersecurity or IT security engineering, with proven track record of handling security incidents.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools.
Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud security features.
Good command of English (spoken and written) for daily communication with internal and external teams.
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar).
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Able to work both independently and in a team.
Proactive, responsible, and open to continuous improvement.
