We are looking for a Country Business Development Manager (BDM), who will be responsible for the strategic planning, development and growth of the companys business in Indonesia. The role is instrumental in identifying and developing business growth through leveraging partners and agents, as well as Landis+Gyr (L+G) pre-sales and product solutions capability.

You will also have the accountability to lead, motivate and develop the region towards their goals and work across the business to drive sales plan outcomes that meet the L+G business plan.

We are looking for an industry expert with extensive previous experience in a senior sales role including technology sales within Energy Management or the Utilities sector.

Specifically, you will have:
Successful proven experience in direct selling as well as working with local distributers/agents and system integrators.
Pre-sales experience demonstrating a proven track record in meeting sales targets and in developing pre-sales solutions is essential.
Previous senior relationships within Government and Utilities Organisations in Indonesia.
Proven track record in technical sales and knowledge of technology.
Ability to build and foster strong relationships and build networks at all levels.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification within Commercial Sales, Marketing, Business or related field, with at least 10+ years experience working in a senior sales role.

You must have previously demonstrated solid leadership skills, strong commercial acumen, excellent oral communication, and documentation skills, be a team player, self-starter, and be able to work unsupervised in an environment driven by high standards for service.

Responsibilities:The position will be responsible for providing integral technical customer solutions. The role reports to the General Manager, SEA and works closely and collaboratively with members of the Senior Leadership Team, Sales and Legal Teams.
Specific areas of responsibility include:

Creating and driving the sales plan for the territory portfolio and managing its implementation and outcomes to achieve agreed targets.
Developing the strategy for AMI in the target market and creating a vision and plan to gain buy-in and support from all key stakeholders across L+G, partners, and other industry stakeholders.
Focusing on developing new revenue growth opportunities that complement our existing products and solutions.
Compiling budgets and forecasts for sales in the local market.
Managing the sales pipeline for Indonesia and ensure the appropriate depth of opportunity to deliver annual targets.
Representing L+G with industry stakeholders such as government bodies and industry associations and at industry conferences and exhibitions.
Driving customer relationship management by taking responsibility for creating excellent executive level relationships. Presenting to and developing a trusted advisor relationship with L+G customers.
Leading major strategic sales opportunities utilising Target Account Selling (TAS) plans, conducting relevant bid reviews with L+G?s senior management team and obtaining the approvals prior to offer.
Developing relevant partner and supplier relations to ensure successful business execution coordinating activities with L+G?s senior management team as appropriate.
Working closely with sales management, sales staff and heads of business lines, to ensure sales opportunities are accurately forecasted and executed according to plan.
Being responsible for driving sales initiatives and pipeline activity in conjunction with sales staff and marketing plans.
The ability to create win-win relationships and to build broad networks at all levels.
