About the Compliance Director - Securities Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for observing and enforcing full compliance from all business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and report compliance breakdowns in all lines of the business so as to ensure that operations adhere to all internal policies and regulatory requirements
Ensure full compliance to internal policies, guidelines and procedures
Report to BOD on non-compliance issue that may constitute a breach of provision of relevant acts, laws, articles of association, rules and regulations or may have a material effect on the funds or assets of the company or the clients
Cultivate a culture of full compliance from all business lines by providing proper education, programme and supervisory on compliance to the supported business line
Provide coaching, guidance, motivation, support, training and feedback to team member to achieve business objective
Display teamwork and work closely with other senior management personnel at all times
Work closely with all business lines to ensure full compliance
Work closely with Risk Management Group on non-compliance issues
To succeed in this Compliance Director - Securities role, you will need to have strong understanding of capital market industry as well as in-depth knowledge of regulations as published by regulators and SROs.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputable university
Minimum of 10 years' experience in securities and/or asset management business
Good understanding of the Securities Markets
Highly-motivated and team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of latest rules and regulations
Outstanding stakeholder management both internal and external
