Preferably Supervisor/Coordinator specialized in Sales - Corporate or equivalent.
Ensuring compliance with payment terms of allocated customers.
Identifying new customers and the key decision makers, maintain and leverage relationships primarily with all customers.
Maintaining regular personal contact to ensure Account Management of key customers is maintained at all times, including; identifying changes in customer working or trade patterns and communicating any possible impact, acting as a principal point of contact and responsible for resolution of customer complaints and disputes, forecasting and performance measurements (KPI) to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship is maintained at all times.
Identifying and exploiting opportunities with existing and new customers for future growth.
Maintaining awareness of operational activity within Logistics and also the Port.
Negotiating terms of business, including any variations in price, delivery and specifications and overseeing the closing of sales, ensuring all is communicated through correct channels internally and externally.
Providing potential customers with quotations where required after discussing any cost implications of new business
