Commercial Banking International (CBI) constitutes of International Coverage Executives (ICE) who's primary responsibility is to deliver Treasury and working capital solutions to our global clients.
A qualified network of in-country / regional experts working closely with the Parent coverage team to customize solutions to help clients expand internationally, navigate the complexities of global payments and understand market nuances.
As the Head of CBI Indonesia, you will manage J.P. Morgan's overall relationships with the Asian, European, and US subsidiaries of Commercial Bank clients globally to understand their challenges and align solutions to address them.
The Indonesia Commercial Banking International (CBI) team helps our clients meet their objectives and challenges in working capital, cash management, Foreign Exchange and liquidity management.
Clients benefit from dedicated coverage provided by the team, who deliver the firm's extensive product platform and presence in Indonesia.
You will lead a team of International Coverage Executives (ICEs) based in Indonesia covering subsidiaries of commercial bank clients.
You will report into the Head of Commercial Bank International, SEA The position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the overall strategy for the Indonesia Commercial Bank subsidiary client franchise including coverage model, revenue growth, new business origination, and optimizing client returns.
- Lead and manage the team to deliver against financial targets including revenue growth, business growth, closed new business, calling intensity and forward looking pipeline.
Work with relevant stakeholders to develop strategic account plans for target names.
- Deliver thought leadership by highlighting emerging trends and potential opportunities and pursue internal and external education efforts for clients and bankers on relevant topics.
Ensure the team gets information on competitor activity in the multinational space.
- Proactively manage transparency and knowledge of Indonesia capabilities with headquarter bankers, transaction banking sales and international product sales teams.
- Manage and build an optimized coverage model for the client franchise working and coordinating with the line of business partners such as Treasury Services, Foreign Exchange and other lines of business.
- Manage a team of International Coverage Executives (ICE) to high levels of performance and client satisfaction while having direct responsibility for coverage of select clients.
Proactively manage talent management holistically including growth, mobility, and succession planning
- Ensure individual and team compliance with all applicable regulations governing commercial
- banking activities including meeting the required regulatory deliverables for Know Your Clients (KYC).
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skill:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Bu siness or other relevant fields.
A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Strong background in Credit, Treasury Services, and flow Foreign Exchange products with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
- People manager with proven leadership scores; strong influencing skills and proven track record of managing cross cultural environments.
- Proven track record of sales/ business development & relationship management
- Excellence in communication skills in English.
- Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and commitment, as well as a strong business sense with a strategic, conceptual and operational orientation.
**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skill**:

- Strong commercial judgment and influencing abilities.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders both onshore, in the region and across geographies.
- Established network or experience with handling commercial bank client subsidiaries in Indonesia is preferred.
