Our client, a prominent and respected bank in Indonesia, is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next phase of growth, innovation, and market leadership.

About the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) opportunity:
The CEO will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the bank, driving sustainable business performance, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance.
Develop and execute the bank's long-term strategic plan in alignment with regulatory requirements, shareholder expectations, and national financial priorities.
Lead and inspire the executive leadership team to deliver strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
Oversee risk management, governance frameworks, and compliance with Indonesian banking regulations.
Drive customer-centric innovation, including digital transformation and adoption of modern banking technologies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, investors, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
Promote a high-performance organizational culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and collaboration.
Identify and develop new growth opportunities, including enhancement of Syariah banking products and distribution channels where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with deep industry expertise, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and demonstrated success at the C-suite level.
Skills and experience needed:
Proven leadership at the C-suite level (CEO, Deputy CEO, COO, CFO, or equivalent) within a sizable and regulated financial institution.
Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in the banking or broader financial services industry.
Deep understanding of the Indonesian banking landscape, regulatory environment, and financial market dynamics.
Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking skills, and stakeholder-management capability.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputable institution (preferred).
Experience with Syariah banking products or Syariah distribution models is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
