We are currently seeking an experienced, and detail-oriented chief accountant to join our firm.
Within this role, you will be able to demonstrate your management and leadership skills, and accounting expertise in a variety accounting practices such as overseeing the payroll and taxes.
We are looking for someone who is highly accurate and efficient, utilizing your vast knowledge in accountancy, and demonstrate great leadership for your accounting team.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and oversee the entire accounting team
- Conduct all necessary training to keep the team's skills and knowledge up to date.
- Ensuring that all the necessary documents are requested, collected and compiled.
- Review all income tax returns to ensure accuracy
- Oversee the processing of local and federal payroll taxes
- Monitor and mentor/ train junior staff, and bookkeepers
- Maintain highly organized and updated on all accounting files.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve a shared goal.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (S1 Accounting)
- Preferably possess a Certified Brevet A & B in good standing
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar position
- Experience in Accounting software
- Extensive business and personal tax experience
- Exceptional computer skills: Microsoft Office and Database
- High Knowledge working with Financial Statements
- Consistent, accurate, thorough with eye for detail
- Great organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
- High level in communication skills, written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills
- Work well in a deadline-driven environment
- Great leadership skills to motivate and lead by example for your team.
- Language: Bahasa Indonesia, English
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Jakarta: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- S1 (required)
