The Opportunity

Successful candidate will be responsible to manage and lead employees on all health, safety, and security issues to providing healthy, safe, and secure working environment. Further, he will be the main point of contact for localised security issues within manufacturing division. He is expected to provide professional support and guidance to all Divisional departments in respect to safety and security management, policies, and procedures. He will also have to ensure a safety culture that is positive, results orientated, people and property focused.

Essential Requirements.

Degree in health and safety or any similar discipline or Level 4 qualification in Health, Safety Practice
Chartered member of IOSH – (CMIOSH)
Have managed safety at a senior level within FMCG or Food Production environment for at least 10 years.
Have detailed knowledge of implementing planned and preventive health, safety and security measures
Have a good working knowledge of fire safety and fire fighting operations
Experience of leading / managing other Health, safety and security personnel like Safety/Security Officers, coordinators, etc at a senior level
Experienced in management, influencing, and communicating and specifying health, safety and security standards
Proficient in English communication (written and spoken)
Candidates having NEBOSH Diploma, Chartered Safety Practitioners or Fellow of IIRSM (CMIOSH or FIIRSM) will have an advantage.
