Division: Business Process, Smelting & Refinery Position Title: Environmental Engineer Work Location: Gresik, East Java Employment Type: 1-year contract with the possibility of extension Job Brief The Environmental Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and guidance for environmental projects and programs at the assigned site.
Qualifications and Skills Additional certifications or licensure relevant to the role (e.g., HAZWOPER, Method 9, DOT, EMS Auditor, Asbestos, Water Treatment Operator, CHMM) are preferred.
Knowledge of environmental compliance, permitting, incident investigation, and reporting protocols.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills, including negotiating, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing.
Proficiency in computer skills to maintain databases and prepare reports and presentations.
Ability to follow safety practices and recognize hazards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (proficient) and English (intermediate).
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in project and operational areas.
Experience in smelting and refining is preferred.
