The Business Development Manager & Account Management is responsible for providing segment- and industry-specific strategies, plans, and execution roadmaps for Corporate, Government and Group Booking channels using fact-based analyses from market & competitive research, available data, and experience with communication or outreach modes/channels / go-to-market tactics.TheBusiness Development Manager & Account Management will work collaboratively to strengthen AirAsia's brand image and customer advocacy, promote AirAsia's culture within the organization, ensure transparency and promote good governance. Develop talents and strengthen staff capability; ensure all staff receives appropriate training.**Here's what an ordinary day looks like**:**You will**:- Ensuring target achievement Sales periodically- Develop business and sales plans and carry out formal monthly reviews- Define and execute Sales strategies to develop and protect the market position- Initiate, gather data, interpret, and make recommendations in order to deliver growth in line with the corporate plan- Secure continued growth through a combination of managing existing and securing additional accounts/channels- Identify and implement creative/alternative channels where opportunity exists- Monitor and develop a strategic plan for industry developments and competitor activity in the territory to identify further commercial opportunities- Maintain an understanding of governmental and regulatory issues that can impact the business in the territory- Monitor and develop a strategic plan for industry developments and competitor activity in the territory to identify further commercial opportunities- Maintain relations with all Corporate, Government, Tourism Board, and other business partner that has the potential to generate sales- Develop annual plans and budget developments for sub-department to align with department wide's strategy including ensuring budget adherence to the approved budget- Led SOPs development and an amendment to ensure all SOPs aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements- Track operating progress and result against annual plan and KPIs to ensure targets are met; develop action plans as needed- Lead the identification of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives**You have**:- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales & Distribution in Airlines Industry- Minimum 3 years experience in Sales & Distribution Managerial in other industry- Self-motivated, good logical thinking and analytical strength in dealing with new exposure- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and develop action plans- Strong command of English - written and verbal- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence upward, downward, and laterally across the organization and geographic boundaries- Agile, self-motivated, well-organized, and energetic in driving change management- Ability to think strategically, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment- Expert in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Word/Google Doc- Frequent traveling is required**We are all different** - one talent to another - that is how we rely on our differences.
