Xfers is looking for a Business Development Manager for its StraitsX team in Indonesia to perform a critical role in looking for new customers, working directly with our customers’ teams to resolve issues and collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders across Technology, Product, and Support to contribute towards consolidating Xfers’ position as a leading online payment solutions provider in the region.
Responsibilites
Achieving growth and hitting sales targets in local and regional Digital Assets markets.
Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Identifying market shifts and competition.
What You May Be Doing
You will drive the delivery of strategic milestones set by the StraitsX team ensuring best-in-class project management and applying critical thinking to business decisions.
You will actively engage with both external stakeholders, including existing customers and leads to grow StraitsX's customer base and business in Indonesia.
You will take ownership of local business development goals for StraitsX.
You will help to bridge the gap between product limitations and user expectations to achieve user satisfaction.
You will collaborate actively and effectively with internal stakeholders in Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan.
Requirements
You have at least 5 years experience in Business Development in a regulated financial environment, with a broad understanding of transaction flows, risk control, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
You have strong project management skills and experiences.
You are outspoken and have the ability to communicate/escalate concerns and facilitate the right stakeholders in a discussion before they become issues.
You are comfortable working in a tech environment with the ability to coordinate across several functions (Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Design, Business Development).
You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in both Bahasa and English.
Nice to Have
Crypto exposure and broad understanding of the Digital Assets industry.
Proficiency in Mandarin would be a plus.
